Specifications:
Titanium Grade 2 is designated as UNS R50400.
Grade 2 Titanium is called the “workhorse” of the commercially pure titanium industry, thanks to its varied usability and wide availability. It is "unalloyed" titanium offering an excellent balance of strength and ductility.
Titanium Grade 2 provides moderate Strength (typical yield strength 352 mpa) combined with Good ductility and formability and excellent weldability. This material is very corrosion resistant in highly oxidizing and mildly reducing environments. The material is castable and is often utilized in cast valves and fittings. In plate form, the alloy is also used explosively boned to make clad plate. Titanium Grade 2 has moderate strength with excellent cold form-ability, weld-ability. This titanium also has excellent resistance to high oxidation. Available forms are seamless pipe, welded pipe, seamless tube, welded tube, bar, wire, sheet, plate, forgings, pipe fittings and flanges.
Titanium Grade 2 offers high corrosion resistance in oxidising, Neutral and mildly reducing media, including chlorides. Commercially Pure Titanium Grade 2 is widely used as it combines excellent formability and moderate strength with superior corrosion resistance. It is slightly stronger than Titanium Grade 1, makes it an ideal material for a large variety of chemical and marine application.
Product Forms of Titanium Grade 2:
Our stock of Grade 2 Titanium products include plate, bar, sheet, ingot and tube, ect.
